Objective: To perform high-quality mechanical service on Sonalika tractors, maintain old stock in optimal condition, and ensure customer satisfaction. Daily Responsibilities: Job Card Collection : Collect assigned job cards from the Service Advisor and perform the required service or repair. Old Stock Tractor Maintenance : Inspect and perform necessary maintenance on old tractor stock (unsold or pre-owned) to ensure they remain in good condition. Clean tractors, check fluid levels, tyre condition, battery health, and overall functioning. Make necessary repairs to ensure old stock tractors are ready for sale or demonstration. Work Completion : Complete repairs as per the job card, ensuring all tasks are documented and signed off. Parts Usage : Record all parts used for repairs on the job card and notify the Service Advisor or Spare Parts Incharge for any required parts replenishment. Quality Check : Conduct a final inspection of all tractors worked on to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Weekly Responsibilities: Stock Maintenance Review : Conduct a weekly check of the old tractor stock. Perform a checklist inspection for each unit to ensure it is in ready-to-sell condition. Report any issues with the old stock to the Workshop Manager or Sales Manager for further action. Preventive Maintenance : Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for old stock tractors, including: Engine check and oil change Battery check and charging Tyre pressure maintenance and tread check Reporting : Share a weekly status report with the Service Manager and Sales Manager regarding the condition of the old stock tractors and any issues identified.
